IT SOMETIMES FEELS LIKE AN
ANNUAL REVIEW FROM GOD!
But, Saturday, August 18th was another great vote of confidence from Him when 25 golfers came together at the Shorewood Golf Club at UW Green Bay to celebrate how He has provided for another year of work.
It was an overcast day, but there was plenty of bright friendship to go around. God blesses, and it is often through the helping hands, like those of our golfers, where He does it.
I deeply appreciate their faithful work on behalf of our work in the Caribbean and Asia and am glad we've got His green light for another full year ahead.

FINALLY, SOME TIME TO TALK
Lives are so busy today that even friends from church don't get to see each other much except for the passing hello on a Sunday morning.
Friends from far and near got to golf and spend some time together in foursomes that chased each other around the course in a best-ball scramble.
WATCH OUT!
At least we looked like golfers even if we didn't actually play like one. It was good news that our futures didn't depend on how well we golfed!
But, in spite of a few slices, hooks, divots and lost balls (lots of them!) it wasn't our golfing that made the day. More than 200 donors pledged little and pledged big to each of our players to keep the work in Trinidad and Sri Lanka teed up for another year.
FINAL CELEBRATION TIME
The last stop was the clubhouse for lunch and doorprizes donated by area businesses.
We where tired from the game, hungry for lunch yet feeling the glow of having done something special.
Thanks where shared, nice words where spoken then the teams broke apart to go back into their separate lives again.
Yet what an encouragement to know that the invisible spirit of God is out there, ready to move again to bless and be blessed as we serve Him and the less fortunate around the world.
Thanks to our golfers and pledgers our work for the King's Kids Primary School in Trinidad can continue to make plans for the future and our next steps in Sri Lanka can also proceed.
We feel very blessed by God, humbled by the outpouring of support we receive from so many friends, and we will strive very hard to be worthy of the faith you've placed in us.
