THE SIXTH ANNUAL MISSIONGUIDES GOLF OUTING WAS ANOTHER BIG SUCCESS!
By every measure our recent Golf Outing was bigger and more successful than any other year.
More golfers, more pledges ($32,000!!!), more churches and more exposure was given to MissionGuides and the work that we can continue to do in Trinidad, Sri Lanka and back at home.
Generous support and faithful partnership is a real work of God in this world that MissionGuides is a greatful recipient of.
We want to thank everyone very much for their much-needed help. MissionGuides will work hard to be worthy of the trust that has been placed in us.

ALL IN THE FAMILY
One of the things that makes the Golf Outing so enjoyable is the fact that we get to bring our kids along to caddie (we don't let them play because they are WAY better than us and make us look bad).
Many of these kids have done it more than once and we look forward to them taking over someday on the course and the field to continue the work our donors have helped to start.
BEST BALL MAKES EVERYONE HAPPY
It's so good to have friends out every year to help. It's good to have a good day on the links too.
People are already talking about next time and who they plan to bring out. By all means come! There is always more work to do and the need for more people to get involved never ends.
If you're a golfer (even if you're not very good), feel invited to join us next time to sink a few putts and make a difference around the world.
Again, many people came together and gave on all different levels. Time! Experience! Encouragements! Skills! and yes, money came together to top off our tanks so that the Kings Kids School In Trinidad and the Children's Home in Sri Lanka can continue their work.
MissionGuides can also continue its work to expose people to what God is doing in the world and how they can be a part of it.
There are many plans in the works for 2009 and 2010. Thanks to all of our helpers and donors many of those plans can now get their start sooner rather than later.
Thank You!
MANY HANDS MAKE IT POSSIBLE.
Without the many people who worked and donated MissionGuides could not have taken the opportunities it has had over the years. But now, children will continue to have a school in Trinidad, orphans will have a new Education Center in Sri Lanka, churches will still be encouraged, ministries will have a partner, and many more ordinary people will have extraordinary experiences with Jesus that will last a lifetime.
Ordinary people (with ordinary golf scores) have done extraordinary work that is making the invisible Kingdom of God visible in some far away places!
